DENVER (KDVR) — The Denver weather forecast turns much warmer with a return to abundant sunshine on Wednesday, with the warming trend persisting through the end of this week.
The weather pattern becomes rather quiet after a very soggy start to the work week. High pressure will move in, keeping the skies full of sunshine into the upcoming weekend. Outside of a small chance for a shower over the city on Monday afternoon, dry conditions will continue into the start of next week.
Weather tonight: Rain tapers off

Rain showers will linger through around midnight before skies gradually clear as it approaches sunrise on Wednesday. Temperatures will hold steady near 50 degrees until those clouds move out during the wee morning hours, allowing lows to fall into the mid-40s.
Weather tomorrow: Sunny and warmer

Thankfully, it’s back to sunshine pretty quickly, and that will warm temperatures back to near 70 degrees. Winds will also be lighter, making that sunshine feel nice and comfortable.
Looking ahead: Quiet and seasonal
The average high is in the upper 70s for this final full week of September, and it will be staying fairly close to that, if not a touch warmer, as highs manage to creep back into the low 80s on Friday.

Sunshine prevails into the weekend, making for great weather to do some leaf-peeping in the high country. However, some clouds and perhaps a spotty shower are possible in the higher elevations. Skies become more of a filtered sunshine over the weekend with a slim threat for an afternoon shower on Monday. Overall, beautiful weather continues into next week with comfortable mornings and pleasant afternoons.
