Chicago's Leo High School Choir needs votes to win ‘America's Got Talent'

Chicago’s Leo High School Choir took the “America’s Got Talent” stage Tuesday for their final performance ahead of the show’s finale.

The choir, hailing from Chicago’s South Side, performed a rendition of “Hall of Fame” by The Script.

As has become typical for the choir, the judges sang praises after their performance.

“I am thrilled,” judge Simon Cowell said. “Energy, everyone is just — I watch people when you perform, you just have this ability to make people feel great.”

Howie Mandel said the boys are a “vibe,” and that he would buy tickets to go see them.

“You are the coolest choir that has ever been here on AGT,” judge Sofia Vergara said.

Across the Chicago area, watch parties gathered Tuesday to celebrate their final performance.

“It’s inspiring to watch them on national television it feels like that could be me,” one young Chicagoan at a watch party told NBC Chicago.

Voting is open at NBC.com/AGTVote and via the AGT App or the NBC App until 6 a.m. CT Wednesday.

The results will be announced during the finale episode that airs at 8 p.m. CT Wednesday.

The Leo High School Choir is one of 10 acts in the finale vying for the million-dollar prize.

A number of the choir members said they plan to use the prize money for college, while others said they would use it to help their families.

The choir’s previous cover of “Centuries” by Fall Out Boy, a nod to a band from their home state, earned enough votes for the boys to make it through to the finale.

Ahead of their final performance, some members of the choir chatted with NBC Chicago about their ‘AGT’ journey.

One of the choir members said the ‘AGT’ experience taught him how to handle pressure in a big moment.
