Charlie Kirk's Turning Point USA campus tour to include UC Berkeley stop

(KRON) — Slain right-wing influencer Charlie Kirk’s Turning Point USA has launched a new campus tour that includes a Bay Area stop. Kirk was shot and killed while speaking at a campus event in Utah earlier this month in what has been characterize as an assassination.

Turning Point USA, the conservative student group the podcaster founded, will go ahead with its fall campus tour, which will conclude at UC Berkeley on Nov. 10. The tour will feature a virtual all-star lineup of figures in the conservative media sphere.

Speakers on the tour include Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk, Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Glenn Beck, Vivek Ramaswamy, and comedian Rob Schneider. The Berkeley event will be headlined by Schneider, an SNL alum who is also a San Francisco native, and Christian author Frank Turek.

Tickets for the event are free but available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The 11-stop tour kicks off on Sept. 22 at University of Minnesota.

Kirk was answering a question about transgender mass shooters at an event at Utah Valley University when he was shot and killed on Sept. 10. Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old Utah man was later arrested and charged in Kirk’s killing.

Following Charlie Kirk’s death, his widow Erika Kirk has been named as the CEO of Turning Point.
