CATSKILL, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A Catskill man was arrested on Wednesday following a months-long investigation. Kristopher Clearwater-Ross, 41, faces multiple charges.
Charges
- Two counts of promoting an obscene sexual performance by a child less than 17 years of age
- Possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child less than 16 years old, possess access
- Possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child less than 16 years old, possess access to view
State Police said the investigation began in July 2024 after getting a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. After over a year, troopers executed a search warrant at Clearwater-Ross’s home in Catskill on Wednesday and he was arrested.
Clearwater-Ross was arraigned in Athens Town Court before being placed in the Greene County Jail. He will appear in court again on Friday at 2 p.m.
