Cardi B announces pregnancy just after revealing tour stop in Chicago

When rapper Cardi B hits the stage in Chicago next year as part of her “Little Miss Drama” tour, she’ll have a newborn in tow.

The 32-year-old confirmed in an interview with Gayle King on CBS Mornings Wednesday morning that she was pregnant and expecting a baby with boyfriend and New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs.

“I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong. I feel very powerful that I’m doing all this work,” she said. “But I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby.”

The announcement comes just one day after the rapper revealed she’ll take her latest album, “Am I the Drama” on tour starting in February of 2026, with stops in 30 U.S. cities. The album drops Friday, and the arena tour is scheduled to come to the United Center in Chicago on March 21.

While she didn’t reveal her due date, Cardi B did hint at when the baby was coming.

“It’s coming before my tour,” she said. “As soon as I give birth, tour rehearsal starts.”

Diggs and Cardi B confirmed their romance in June, E! reported. The Grammy winner is mom to three other children — Kulture, 7, Wave, 3 and Blossom, 11, whom she shares with ex-husband and rapper Offset.
