ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox are facing off for one of Major League Baseball’s most exciting rivalries. Hundreds of fans from the Capital Region took the trip down to the Bronx on Wednesday for the game.
To skip traffic, tolls and parking, some fans traveled on a bus with Yankee Trails.
“Obviously, playoff baseball, I feel like if you think about Yankee Trails, you think about the Yankees. And it’s playoff baseball, we’re so excited. October, you can feel it in the air today. We’re just so excited to have Capital Region fans go down to the stadium.”
The Yankees lost the first game in the series Tuesday night. If they win Wednesday, they stay in the playoffs.
