Flyers’ great Bernie Parent never stopped connecting with Philly fans
The remembrances and appreciations poured in Monday for Bernie Parent, the goalie and essential player on two Flyers’ championship teams, who died this weekend at his home in Avalon, N.J. He was 80.
Parent had been out in public as recently as last Friday, doing what he did — attending events, connecting with fans — though old teammates report he had been in considerable pain. Continue reading …

Tinker and Trade creates space for community, creatives to prosper
Cassandra Torres was looking for a creative outlet in 2022, after she stopped working in retail. She worked with a boutique that offered craft vendors a place to sell their wares.
