The Chicago Bears will be playing in a home playoff game for the first time in seven years Saturday, and they’ll be rocking an alternate look.
The Bears and Green Bay Packers will be meeting for just the third time in a postseason game, and the Monsters of the Midway are putting a spin on their uniforms for the occasion.
On Saturday prior to the game, the Bears revealed their uniform combos for the contest, and eagle-eyed fans will notice something different:
The Bears will be rocking their navy blue home jerseys for the game, but they’ll be pairing them with navy blue pants as well, a combination the team hasn’t worn since the 2022-23 season finale against the Minnesota Vikings.
Saturday’s game marks the first time the Bears and Packers have played in a postseason contest since 2011, when Green Bay won the NFC Championship Game 21-14 at Soldier Field.
That season was also the last time the Bears won a playoff game, as they defeated the Seattle Seahawks in the Divisional Round.
The Bears beat the Packers in a divisional tiebreak game in the 1941 playoffs en route to an NFL Championship, the only other time the long-time rivals have battled on the postseason stage.
Kickoff between the Bears and Packers is set for 7 p.m. Saturday, and the game will air on Prime Video.
