Family Practice/Primary Care Physician Assistant

We are seeking a licensed Family Physician Assistant to join our team in California for a 60-day locum tenens assignment starting on Sep 15, 2025. This position involves daily shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, focusing on ER follow-ups and telehealth patient transitions back to the clinic.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct follow-ups with ER patients and assist in managing their care via telehealth.
• Transition patients effectively back into the clinic setting.
• Utilize Epic EMR system to document and manage patient care.
• Engage in continuous quality improvement focusing on quality metrics and preventative care.

Additional Information

• Must be licensed in California.
• Required Board Certification: Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP).
• Ideal candidates will possess a strong background in rural health and be proficient in the Epic EMR system.
• Preference for bilingual candidates and those experienced with OB/GYN.
