Job Details
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Legal Assistant to support our attorneys and legal staff with a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, efficient, and able to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Responsibilities:
Perform general administrative duties including copying, scanning, filing, and organizing legal documents
Draft, proofread, and format correspondence, including cover letters and routine legal documents
Manage attorney calendars and schedule client meetings, court appearances, and other appointments
Maintain electronic and physical filing systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
Assist with client intake and communication, including answering phones and responding to emails
Coordinate document delivery and mailings
Support case preparation with document review, organizing exhibits, and maintaining case files
Perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth and efficient legal operations
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in a legal or administrative support role preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, Adobe PDF tools)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines
Discretion with confidential information
