Overview: The recruiter is responsible for sourcing candidates for a wide array of roles-from frontline behavioral health professionals and clinical support staff to administrative team members and leadership-level positions-covering both direct client services and essential operational support.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with department heads to understand hiring needs
  • Identify candidates through internal data and outreach
  • Screen applicants, check references, and verify credentials
  • Guide candidates through the interview and hiring process
  • Coordinate job fairs, open interviews, and networking events
  • Schedule meetings and gather post-interview feedback
  • Ensure compliance with EEO and employment laws
  • Take on additional duties as needed

Skills & Competencies:


  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work effectively across diverse teams and settings
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, etc.)


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field is preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in HR or a related role
  • SHRM Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential preferred
  • Valid NYS driver’s license required
