The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for financial modeling, analysis, and decision support. This position collaborates with business unit leaders to develop and analyze growth opportunities and drive efficiencies within the current business framework. We seek an individual who is self-motivated, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate new business opportunities, potential acquisitions, new products, and growth initiatives by developing financial projection models.
- Assist in the due diligence process for acquisitions and new services by preparing detailed financial forecasts incorporating key financial and operational metrics.
- Prepare and distribute financial reports and packages by gathering and analyzing information related to current performance.
- Conduct sensitivity analysis to assess the impact on revenue, expenses, and profitability by modeling changes in key variables and recommending appropriate courses of action.
- Collaborate with business unit leaders to create strategies for improving net profitability and develop roadmaps for sustained profitability.
- Provide decision support for business unit leaders through financial and operational ad hoc reporting and analysis.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
- 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis and modeling in an enterprise environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL (TM1 experience is a plus).
- Ability to work with large data sets to develop scalable financial reporting solutions.
- Strong functional expertise in Finance and demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge of financial reporting in the healthcare industry.
- Experience with financial reporting tools such as Power BI and Cognos.
- Supervisory skills and project management experience.
- Demonstrated leadership in defining cross-functional requirements and leading projects.
Work Environment
The work environment includes a standard office setting with a team of five people. The dress code is smart casual. Working hours are from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, with four days in the office and one day working from home. There is flexibility to work from home when necessary. The office is located in a newly renovated building with a cafe and convenient store in the main lobby area, as well as a gym. The team is high-energy, close-knit, and enjoys activities like golfing. The environment offers numerous opportunities for growth, with junior analysts already presenting findings to leadership.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.06 – $43.27/hr.
