We are seeking an experienced Building Superintendent to manage our complex and dynamic projects and grow with the company. Working Onsite from our Conshohocken Pennsylvania office.
The Building Superintendent will be reporting to the Director of Construction at Tarkett Sports Construction. The ideal candidate is responsible for overseeing on-site construction activities, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring schedule adherence, safety compliance, and resolving issues.

What You’ll Do
- Reviewing construction documents in Precon phase for constructability and means and methods approach.
- Creating project master and micro schedules, overseeing construction project progress to ensure it is following the established timeline.
- Managing and coordinating the work of subcontractors and ensuring they meet their contractual obligations.
- Ensuring adherence to building codes, safety standards, and legal requirements.
- Resolving any issues or delays that may arise in the construction process.
- Effective communication with project managers, architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.
- Must be competent in coordinating site operations and able to oversee manpower & equipment on project sites.
- OSHA 30 required.
Experience & Education Desired:
- Experience: 5+ years’ experience in vertical & civil construction or a related bachelor’s degree.
- Demonstrated experience and success running a $5 million plus vertical construction project as Lead Superintendent.
- Minimum 5 years’ supervisory experience in construction or building operations (Superintendent).
- Technical Skills: Highly proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Software Proficiency: Microsoft Office suite. Proficiency in Microsoft Projects’ Scheduling software is a plus.
- Preferred Experience: Bluebeam Revu and Procore
- Leadership: Effectively guide and motivate on-site teams to ensure timely and quality project completion.
- Problem-Solving: Quickly identify and resolve construction challenges to maintain project momentum.
- Communication: Clearly convey information and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding.
