The Chicago Bears will be plenty bundled up as they take on the Los Angeles Rams, but will their all-navy uniforms be used again?
The Bears hadn’t gone with the navy jerseys and navy pants combo in a game since the 2022 season, but they brought it out against the Green Bay Packers last week and were rewarded with a 31-27 triumph.
Bears fans have been wondering this week whether the team would go back to that look for the Divisional Round game against the Rams, and now it appears we have our answer thanks to the team’s social media feed:
It does indeed appear that the Bears will be going with their navy blue jerseys and their navy blue pants for the game, which will kick off at 5:30 p.m. Central time on NBC.
The Bears may be using a bit of gamesmanship with the contest, as the weather is calling for frigid cold temperatures and a chance of fluffy snow to fall during the game.
That snow could perhaps provide just a bit of camouflage for the Rams’ white jerseys, though quarterback Matthew Stafford has played in snow before, so he’ll likely be looking for the team’s bright blue helmets.
