Authorities seek help locating fatal shooting suspect in Cudahy

Authorities sought the public’s assistance Thursday in locating a suspect responsible for the fatal shooting of a 39-year-old man in Cudahy during the summer.

Miguel Santoyo Meza was shot shortly before 12:10 a.m. on Aug. 12 in the 4900 block of Clara Street near Wilcox Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Homicide detectives released a photo of Meza and the suspect vehicle in the hope of encouraging witnesses to come forward with details.

Details about the shooting or what led up to the attack remain unknown.
