Shocking surveillance video shows the moment gunfire erupted at a Miramar gas station Tuesday night, leaving one man dead and two other people including an innocent bystander injured.
The shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. at a Sunoco gas station near Pembroke Road and DeSoto Boulevard.
Officials with the City of Miramar said the incident began when a person walked up to a car at the gas station, leading to the altercation and an exchange of gunfire.
The surveillance video shows three people exchanging handshakes before they began exchanging gunfire next to a Mercedes sedan.

One angle shows at least two armed gunmen shooting at each other over the hood of the Mercedes before both flee in different directions.
Officials said one man, 19-year-old Christian Corea, was killed at the scene.
One of the men who ran away was injured and later taken to the hospital by a family member.
The third person injured in the gunfire was an innocent bystander who was hospitalized but expected to survive.
Video showed the bystander was working on a vehicle nearby when he was struck by a stray bullet in the thigh.

Witnesses reported hearing gunshots and seeing someone running.
“My friend, we were sitting here, and we heard like 8-10 gunfire shots,” one witness said. “We seen a guy wearing all black run down this street, later we heard more gunfire.”
Footage from the scene showed a Mercedes sedan closed off by yellow police tape and multiple evidence markers on the ground nearby.
Miramar spokesperson Janice McIntosh said investigators are trying to find the other person who was also involved in the incident.
“We believe that there was one other person who ran from the scene and he could assist us in the investigation,” McIntosh said.
On Wednesday, Miramar Police and SWAT were seen surrounding a home a few blocks from the gas station as they were searching for the other person involved but officials said the search was unsuccessful.
Meanwhile, Corea’s mother spoke Wednesday about losing her son.
“There’s no words that any mother could describe what it is to lose a child,” mother Jennifer Mercedes said. “I know that my son’s at peace because he’s a child that became an adult, he saved his life, he gave his life to Christ.”

Mercedes said her son wanted to be a firefighter and was going to be a father.
“He was gonna be a father this year, unfortunately he doesn’t have the fortune to see his son,” she said. “I’m speechless and I’m still in shock.”
