NFL Christmas Day schedule: How to watch the holiday triple-header

NFL fans will be gifted a triple-header on Christmas Day.

The Week 17 slate kicks off Thursday with a trio of divisional showdowns.

The holiday action begins with an NFC East battle as the Washington Commanders (4-11) host the Dallas Cowboys (6-8-1). These two fan bases are probably more focused on draft positioning at this point, as Dallas and Washington have both been eliminated from playoff contention.

The action then shifts to Minneapolis where the Detroit Lions (8-7) will try to keep their slim playoff chances alive against the Minnesota Vikings (7-8). The Lions must beat the J.J. McCarthy-less Vikings in order to remain in the playoff hunt.

Arrowhead Stadium is the site of the Christmas finale as the Denver Broncos (12-3) visit the eliminated Kansas City Chiefs (6-9) looking to rebound from their first loss since September. The Broncos are still in the driver’s seat for the No. 1 seed in the AFC, but the New England Patriots and Jacksonville Jaguars are on their heels. Quarterback Chris Oladokun is set to make his first NFL start after Patrick Mahomes and Gardner Minshew suffered season-ending knee injuries in consecutive weeks.

Oladokun is one of three backups getting the start on Christmas, along with Washington’s Josh Johnson and Minnesota’s Max Brosmer.

With the stage set, here’s how to watch the NFL Christmas games:
