Powerful winds toppled scaffolding at a construction site, caused trees to fall down and even caused power outages in areas across Los Angeles Wednesday night.
Toppled trees were spotted in areas like North Hollywood where one driver crashed into the fallen tree, as well as in Granada Hills where another tree fell on top of a car parked outside.
In the Fairfax district, the strong winds also caused scaffolding to come crashing down. Some of the scaffolding fell onto the construction site and some fell onto the sidewalk on La Brea Avenue as crews worked overnight to clean it up.
According to SoCal Edison, power outages also affected some 2,200 customers in Windsor Hills and about 60 others in West Hollywood. Power has since been restored.
