Videos posted on social media and traffic cameras on Tuesday appeared to show troopers stopping gardening and landscape workers throughout various locations in Davie.
A social media user posted the video and put the quote, “Happening now ICE in Davie, Florida pulling over random lawn trucks.”
The video appears to show law enforcement officials and troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) doing traffic stops near Interstate 595 in the area of Griffin Road.
In the video, two people who were seen in gardening trucks appeared to be put in a squad car and were detained.
NBC6 cameras later spotted a Border Patrol car parked near Flamingo Road, and a gardening truck being towed away.
Traffic cameras also showed law enforcement pulling over gardening trucks on I-595 close to Nob Hill Road, as well as University Drive.
NBC6 reached out to Immigration and Customs Enforcement, which referred questions to FHP.
FHP only confirmed that troopers were conducting traffic enforcement.
