SEPTA's Paoli/Thorndale Regional Rail line suspended due to disabled train

Note: As of about 9:35 a.m. trains service was restored along SEPTA’s Paoli/Thorndale line.

A disabled train at the Rosemont Station along SEPTA’s Paoli/Thorndale Regional Rail line led to slowdowns for commuters on the Tuesday morning rush hour.

On social media, at about 8:34 a.m. on Tuesday, SEPTA alerted riders that service along that line would be suspended “until further notice” due to that disabled train.

As of about 8:50 a.m., SEPTA officials were alerting commuters to find alternate routes of travel.

Officials did not immediately say why the train was disabled.

By about 9:35 a.m., SEPTA alerted riders that train service along the line was resumed. Though, they noted, there would be delays.
