Jonas Brothers celebrate 20 years of music with Hollywood handprint ceremony

Three new sets of famous hand and footprints were added to the cement at the TCL Chinese Theatre when the Jonas Brothers were honored Wednesday in the heart of Hollywood.

The brothers — Kevin, Joe, and Nick — pressed their hands and footprints into the cement in the forecourt of the theater off Hollywood Boulevard in a tradition that began in 1927.

They received a star on the nearby Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2023.

“When we first visited Los Angeles, this was the first place we went to,” Joe Jonas said. “And to see these stars, to see these handprints, and thinking like, ‘One day, maybe,’ but never this early in our careers.”

The brothers are in the final weeks of their national “Greetings From Your Hometown” tour and marking their milestone 20th anniversary. The tour stops in Wichita, Kansas, Wednesday night.

The ceremony comes on the heels of the premiere of “A Very Jonas Christmas Movie,” which is streaming on Disney+.

The brothers rose to fame, both as a band and individual projects, in the early 2000s and skyrocketed to global multi-platinum pop star fame. They released their debut album “It’s About Time” in 2006 and became prominent Disney Channel stars with appearances in in “Camp Rock” (2007), “Camp Rock 2” (2010) and their own series “Jonas” (2009).

The third “Camp Rock” movie was officially announced on Sept. 17. The film will include the Jonas Brothers as their fictional band Connect 3 returning to camp.
