Chicago Bears vs. Eagles Black Friday game: Timing, channel, what to expect

The Chicago Bears and Philadelphia Eagles will be doing something they’ve never done before this week: playing on Black Friday.

In the teams’ first appearances for the post-holiday game, which the NFL began in 2023, the Bears won’t have as much time to work up an appetite as they prepare to play before a “global” audience.

But how can you watch the game and when?

Here’s what to know as Chicago looks to stuff a different bird this Thanksgiving week:

When do the Bears play next?

The Bears take on the Eagles Friday, Nov. 28, in the 2025 NFL Black Friday match-up at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.

What time is the Black Friday NFL game?

Kick-off is at 2 p.m. CT. Pregame coverage begins at 12:30 p.m. CT.

Where can you watch the game?

The game will be available for “global streaming,” according to a recent agreement reached between the NFL and Amazon Prime.

Prime Video is set to broadcast the game in the first NFL event to ever be streamed globally on the platform.

There will be no subscription or Prime membership required to watch, according to Amazon and the NFL.

“We are thrilled to expand our relationship with the NFL and present Black Friday Football to the millions of fans we serve around the world,” Jay Marine, head of Prime Video U.S. and global sports, said in a statement. “Black Friday is becoming one of the best sports holidays of the year, and this can’t-miss game between the Super Bowl Champion Eagles and the surging Bears, in one of the most-charged stadium atmospheres in sports, stands at the center of a huge day for all of us at Amazon.”

The stream will be available in more than 240 countries and territories, though the league notes Canada and certain countries will not have the feed available.

The game will also air locally on Fox.

What to know about the game?

The NFC North-leading Bears (8-3) won for the eighth time in nine games on Sunday, but they’ll be heading into their Black Friday debut on a shortened timeline.

“It’s a short week. This will be a different challenge here for our players. Just haven’t had one five-day span like this,” head coach Ben Johnson said Monday. “And so it’ll be a race to get our bodies feeling as good as we possibly can, get the game plan downloaded … I know our coaches are working hard right now, putting in some good plays together and, good thoughts together so that we can execute and play fast at a high level against a really good football team here on the road. So, excited about that challenge.”

The Eagles also have a short week before hosting Chicago on Friday.

The reigning Super Bowl champions fell to Dallas Sunday in a surprising 24-21 loss.

The Eagles (8-3) have a comfortable lead over Dallas (5-5-1) in the NFC East and are in position to become the first repeat champion in the division in two decades. But Philadelphia fell behind the Rams (9-2) in the race for the No. 1 seed.

Meanwhile, Caleb Williams threw for three touchdowns, and Chicago beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 31-28 in a matchup of NFC North division leaders on Sunday.

Ruben Hyppolite and Tyrique Stevenson exited the game with injuries after both were hurt in the first half and Dominique Robinson entered concussion protocol in the fourth quarter, adding to the latest injuries for Chicago.
