North Central, Wheaton punch tickets to NCAA Division III football playoffs

North Central College in suburban Naperville will be aiming to win their fourth championship in the last six seasons as they enter the NCAA Division III football playoffs.

The Cardinals are the reigning national champions in Division III, and they’ll be aiming for a second title in a row as they enjoy a bye through the first round of the bracket, which was announced on Sunday.

North Central will take on the winner of next week’s game between Muhlenberg and Union, with the game set for noon Central time in Naperville on Saturday, November 29.
