One person was taken to the hospital after a small plane crashed in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, Wednesday evening, officials confirmed.
The crash occurred in a field on the 700 block of Cowpath Road in Franconia Township.
According to VMSC Emergency Medical Services, first responders found a person, identified as the plane’s pilot, after they had climbed out of a ravine.
Officials believe a small lightweight plane crashed in the area.
The pilot was taken to the hospital after being treated at the scene by medics, officials said.
Officials have not yet revealed their condition.
