DENVER (KDVR) — Colorado is the birth place of plenty of award-winning beers and breweries, and one brewery in Golden was named among the 50 best in the nation by the publication Only In Your State.
The website is known for its highlights of unique and outstanding things in each state. Readers flooded the site with recommendations for the best breweries, including hidden gems with experimental flavors and busy accredited breweries with classic favorites.
The list includes one brewery in each state. The notable site for Colorado was New Terrain Brewing Company, No. 6, located at 16401 Table Mountain Pkwy. in Golden.
The publication described New Terrain Brewing Company as “where craft beer meets outdoor adventure,” highlighting its beer garden with mountain views and live music.
But sweeping views and outdoor adventures are not hard to find in Colorado. The publication said that what makes this particular brewery stand out is its variety of both “tradition-honoring beers” as well as “experimental, curiosity-driven creations.”
The brewery was founded by a couple of professionals in the industry who took a “plunge into new terrain,” the website states.
“Some of our beers are brewed following tradition, while others are manifestations of our curiosity to try things differently. All of our beers reflect the relentless joy that craft brewing brings us, with a precision and passion behind each recipe. Just like us, our beers are constantly evolving. We wonder so we wander,” the website states.
The brewery welcomes families and kids, and dogs outside in the beer garden. A list of what is on tap, events and live music on the schedule for November can be found on its website.
The next closes breweries on the list were Sierra Blanca Brewing in Moriarty, New Mexico, Bohemian Brewery in Midvale, Utah and Snake River Brewing in Jackson, Wyoming.
