TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A tiny kitten was rescued after a good Samaritan spotted her along Interstate 275.
After being seen by a passerby, the kitten, named Sue, sprinted into the engine of their vehicle, a Subaru.
According to Tampa Fire Rescue, when Sue wouldn’t come out from the vehicle’s engine, the driver flagged down the Tampa Fire Rescue Airport Division Chief, who was driving down the interstate at the time.
The chief called in for assistance, and responders got to work coaxing the animal out.
After successfully scooping Sue out from under the vehicle, she was taken to the Humane Society in Tampa.
