Denver weather: More sunshine, warm temperatures

DENVER (KDVR) — More sunshine and above normal temperatures are in Denver’s weather forecast for the rest of the workweek.

Weather tonight: Mostly clear

Wednesday night will stay mainly clear. Low temperatures will fall to around 40 degrees, which is 10 degrees warmer than normal for this time of year.

Weather tomorrow: Breezy, mild

Thursday, a system will bring light snow showers to the northern mountains, with very little to no accumulations for most spots.

As this system moves east, it will dry up as it approaches the foothills and Interstate 25 corridor, producing only a few clouds and strong wind gusts up to 30-40 mph.

Temperatures will climb to the upper 60s, which is more than 10 degrees above normal for this time of year.

Looking ahead: Cooler weekend

Thursday evening will remain mainly clear and breezy with wind gusts around 20-30 mph.

Temperatures by kickoff of the Broncos game will fall to the upper 50s, then closer to 50 degrees by the final play.

Friday will be mainly sunny and mild, with high temperatures again above normal and climbing to the 60s.

A front will come through this weekend making Saturday breezy and more seasonal with highs only reaching the low to mid 50s. Then, sunshine aids in warming temperatures back up to the 60s for the first half of the workweek.
