'Palantir out' vandalism in Cherry Creek sparks investigation

DENVER (KDVR) — Police are investigating a vandalism incident in the Cherry Creek neighborhood of Denver.

A Denverite told FOX31 that they were walking their dog around 7 a.m. Saturday when they came across the vandalism, which apparently included white spray paint saying “Palantir out,” red spray paint and broken front glass doors.

The source said they saw spray paint and broken glass, but said the doors leading into the building were unscathed. The source said security workers confirmed that the owners had been notified of the vandalism.

A spokesperson for the Denver Police Department told FOX31 that it is investigating the incident as criminal mischief.

No further information about the investigation was immediately available.

Palantir Technologies, which is headquartered near downtown Denver, develops data software that “powers real-time, AI-driven decisions in critical government and commercial enterprises in the West,” according to the website.

Business Den reported earlier this year that Palantir was set to move its headquarters to the location that was vandalized.

FOX31 has reached out to Palantir Technologies and has not heard back as of this publishing.
