ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The United States Postal Service has announced several job fairs planned throughout November across the Capital Region. The six job fairs are being held in Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, and Essex Counties.
The job fairs will fill immediate openings for City Carrier Assistants and Rural Carrier Associates. City carriers earn $20.73 an hour, while rural carriers can earn $20.85 an hour.

- 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

- Stephentown Post Office
- 389 NY-43 in Stephentown
- 9 a.m. to noon
November 7
- Malta Post Office
- 12 Helphill Place in Ballston Spa
- 9 a.m. to noon
November 13
- Schroon Lake Post Office
- 1097 US Route 9, Ste. 1 in Schroon Lake
- 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
November 21
- Albany General Mail Facility (use employee entrance)
- 30 Karner Road in Albany
- 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
November 25
- Schenectady Post Office
- 29 Jay St. in Schenectady
- 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
All applicants must be 18 or older to apply, in addition to passing a drug test and background check. Anyone who applies must also be available to work weekends and holidays.
