Car crashes into house in Somerton on Sunday night

A car went off the road and crashed into a house in the Somerton neighborhood of Philadelphia on Sunday night.

NBC10 went to the scene at around 9 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 19, to find a white BMW with significant damage flipped on its side next to the house, which is located at the intersection of Hendrix and Rennard streets.

The car appears to have gone through a fence and caused damage to the yard area, but it is unclear how much damage the structure suffered.

No word on any injuries or what caused the crash at this time, but NBC10 is working to learn more.
