DENVER (KDVR) — Travelers at the Denver International Airport experienced delays getting around the concourses on Friday morning due to a brief train issue. Full service has been restored.
The Denver airport said in a post on X that its train to the gates experienced a “brief issue” around 7 a.m.
The airport said operations were quickly restored in an “altered configuration” while crews worked to troubleshoot the issue.
Around 9:30 a.m., the airport said that the train was restored but was running at a slightly reduced capacity as crews continue to repair the source of the issue.
The airport recommended that travelers in Concourse A use the bridge to get to their gates rather than the train.
The airport did not say what the issue was. At 10:39 a.m., the airport said the train was restored to maximum capacity and the maintenance issue was resolved.
FOX31 received tips and videos from viewers reporting that there were long lines and delays for people trying to use the trains.
