(KRON) — Every year, Yelp releases its list of the “Best New Restaurants” in the country. Yelp writes that these restaurants are “setting culinary trends across America with must-try menus and chef-driven innovations.”
In the top 25, two San Francisco restaurants were honored in the list: No. 7 Hed 11 in Japantown and No. 12 Caché in the Inner Sunset.
Hed 11 is a Thai restaurant located inside Kimpton Hotel Enso at 1800 Sutter St. Yelp writes that it is “an 11-course tasting menu in menu introducing Americans to lesser-known Thai cuisines.”
The eatery already has earned Michelin recognition since opening in May 2024. Hed 11 is owned by Naruephon “Billy” Wannajaro, who also runs hed verythai in the Financial District.
Caché, located at 1235 9th Ave., opened earlier this year in May. It is described as a modern French bistro, and the restaurant owners met while working at a Michelin-starred kitchen in Bordeaux, France, according to Yelp.
The full top 25 list can be viewed on Yelp’s website.
