AUSTIN (KXAN) — No. 9 Westlake hasn’t played at Chaparral Stadium a lot this season, but they’ll be back in their friendly confines Thursday against the Austin High Maroons as the KBVO Game of the Week.
The game is scheduled to kick off at 7:30 p.m. and will air on KBVO. It will be available on-demand on the KXAN+ smart TV app by Friday.

Joe Taylor and Ricky Doyle will be on the call as part of the Westlake Technical Entertainment crew, who produce all of the broadcasts for Chaparrals football that air on KXAN platforms.
The Chaps made quick work of Akins 66-0 last week, building a 52-0 lead by halftime. Austin High fell to Dripping Springs 56-14. Quarterback Whit Davenport threw for 142 yards with a touchdown against the Tigers.
