A 2-year-old boy was struck and killed in Upper Milford Township in Lehigh County on Thursday, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
The incident took place at around 4:15 p.m. on the 5300 block of Bachman Road, police said.
State Troopers who arrived at the scene attempted life-saving measures on the boy before he was taken to the hospital by ambulance, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Pennsylvania State Police say they are investigating the death, but have not announced any details about the car or driver involved, including whether they stayed at the scene or fled.
