TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — It’s going to be golden for K-pop fans in Troy this weekend. Ilium Brewing Co. on Fulton Street will be hosting a KPop Demon Hunters Pop-up on Saturday.
The event is inspired by the hit Netflix animated movie, “KPop Demon Hunters.” The film, which has reportedly become Netflix’s most-watched title, follows a K-pop demon-hunting girl group as they go up against a rival boy band secretly made up of demons.
The pop-up will kick off at 2 p.m. with a screening of the film. At 3:30 p.m., attendees can participate in a best-dressed contest before joining a sing-a-long at 4 p.m.
Finally, at 5 p.m., the venue will host a kid-friendly round of K-pop trivia. A photobooth will also be on site for free photos, and Meat & Company out of Niskayuna will be selling sandwiches and other foods.
The KPop Demon Hunters Pop-up will run from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Ilium Brewing Co. is located at 410 Fulton Street.
