Michelin-starred chef opens luxury hotel in Healdsburg, starting at over $500 per night

(BCN) — A new luxury hotel has opened in Healdsburg, offering what its owners describe as “culinary-first hospitality.”

Located on 8.5 acres, Appellation Healdsburg features 108 guest rooms starting at $509 a night. The property includes two pools, an indoor-outdoor gym and a spa.

The hotel is co-owned by Michelin-starred chef Charlie Palmer and marks his second hospitality venture in the city, following Hotel Healdsburg downtown. With a focus on food and a farm-to-table approach, the property offers guests hands-on workshops ranging from cheesemaking to craft cocktail classes.

The on-site restaurant, Folia Bar & Kitchen, prepares nearly all dishes over an open fire using locally sourced ingredients. Palmer’s son, Reed, serves as chef de cuisine.

A rooftop bar, Andy’s Beeline Rooftop, serves caviar and ceviche alongside cocktails and nonalcoholic drinks made with produce grown on the property.
