Warren County prepares for multiple October job fairs

WARREN COUNTY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Residents of Warren County can meet with a variety of businesses at three free job fairs on October 9, 16, and 29. The Warren County Department of Workforce Development will host two of the fairs in Glens Falls and one in Queensbury.

The job fairs are in collaboration with the New York State Department of Labor, and over a dozen businesses have registered. Some of the companies include government agencies, local manufacturing, healthcare providers, and more.

Job fairs

  • Thursday, October 9- National Guard Armory on Stone Quarry Road in Queensbury, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Thursday, October 16- Crandall Public Library on Glen Street in Glens Falls, from 9:30 a.m. to noon.
  • Wednesday, October 29- Glens Falls YMCA on Glen Street in Glens Falls, from noon to 4 p.m.

“These events are great opportunities for local residents to learn more about their career options, and the staff from Warren County Career Center will be on hand with information about free training and career skills options that are available here in Warren County,” Warren County Director of Workforce Development Liza Ochsendorf said.
