The latest Storm Tracker Forecast from meteorologist Matt Mackie:
Summertime weather is coming back! For a little bit, at least. With high pressure in control, we stay bright and sunny from start to finish.

Along with light winds out of the south, all that sun will help us warm from the 30’s and 40’s this morning to the mid 70’s in most spots by this afternoon.

Tonight is still cool, but not as cool as the past few nights. Lows in the upper 40’s are actually slightly above average in the Albany area!

Even warmer tomorrow, with continued sunshine bringing more mid to upper 70 degree high temperatures region-wide.

While this weekend may not feel like fall with all that warmth, it’ll still look like fall in the mountains! We are at peak fall foliage in the high peaks of the Adirondacks, Catskills, and the Green Mountains of Vermont.

With highs in the low 80’s on Sunday – hot by October standards! – you may be taking in those fall foliage views in shorths and a t-shirt.

Still warm and sunny for Monday. More clouds develop during the day Tuesday, and we’ll have showers and breezy conditions by Wednesday. Cooler behind that system, with temperatures back into the low 60’s by the following Thursday.
