SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — City officials in Schenectady are warning commuters of an upcoming road closure on Thursday. The city said Lafayette Road between Liberty Street and Franklin Street will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Schenectady Department of Utilities said on Wednesday that the road closure is necessary for work being done by Carver Construction. Drivers should consider alternative routes to avoid construction.
