Albany Job Fair connects dozens of employers with job seekers

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Dozens of Capital Region employers and hundreds of job seekers came together on Wednesday in Latham at the Holiday Inn Express for the Albany Job Fair. The fair featured more than 50 companies offering job seekers the chance to learn about what they do.

Officials said it was an opportunity to connect directly with employers and to take your career to the next step.

“The job seekers don’t have to register. They just walk in,” Albany Job Fair founder and organizer Darcy Knapp said. “We don’t ask for ID; we don’t wanna know your email address. You’re not gonna get solicited. This is just meet the recruiters and find the job that’s a good fit for you.”

If you missed the job fair, Saratoga Springs is hosting its own job fair on Thursday, Oct. 23 at the public library. The first 50 job seekers to attend will get free professional headshots.
