Chicago’s Leo High School Choir will soon find out if their last performance was enough to secure a victory on “America’s Got Talent” — and the judges certainly seemed to think so.
The all-boys choir, hailing from Chicago’s South Side, performed a rendition of “Hall of Fame” by The Script, earning plenty of praise from the judges and a roaring applause from the audience Tuesday night.

Wearing Leo High School colors and uniforms, the group stood out with their powerful performance that ended with a blast of streamers throughout the arena and the entire room standing on their feet.
Mel B said the group “delivered.”
“I don’t care what you sing I just love you guys,” she said.
Judge Howie Mandel said the group is why you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover.
“If you hear there’s a choir coming up next you have a certain image and you’re waiting for it. But you guys have a vibe,” Mandel said, adding that he would buy tickets to see them perform.
Judge Sofia Vergara said the group is “the coolest choir that has ever been here on AGT.”
Meanwhile, Simon Cowell said he was “thrilled” with the performance.
Across the Chicago area, watch parties gathered Tuesday to celebrate their final performance.
“It’s inspiring to watch them on national television it feels like that could be me,” one young Chicagoan at a watch party told NBC Chicago.
Voting for the finale closed at 6 a.m. CT Wednesday.
The results will be announced during the finale episode that airs at 8 p.m. CT Wednesday.
The Leo High School Choir is one of 10 acts in the finale vying for the million-dollar prize.
A number of the choir members said they plan to use the prize money for college, while others said they would use it to help their families.
