Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon vowed Tuesday that the San Diego-based wireless pioneer will be “the company that’s going to bring AI everywhere.”

Amon spoke at the opening of the three-day Snapdragon Summit 2025 conference in Maui that brings together industry analysts, media, Qualcomm customers and partners.

Snapdragon is Qualcomm’s line of processors that are powering everything from smartwatches to cellphones, laptops and desktops. The latest chips are reportedly competitive with processors from long-time computer market leaders Intel and AMD.

“Now is the time for Snapdragon to change the world again,” said Amon. “And we’re going to change it with this vision of bringing AI everywhere.”

He described future devices that don’t just respond to prompts but understand, anticipate and take action via AI agents working for a person.

“This is going to create what we call an ‘Ecosystem of You.’ We’re going to make this tech, which is already very personal, into the most personal technology ever,” Amon said.

“Humans have already decided what they’re going to wear: glasses, earbuds, rings, jewelry, watches. These devices are going to be transforming, and this is going to create what we call an ecosystem of you.”
