Described by the Sheriff’s Office as energetic and eager to work, K-9 Larry graduated from the training facility alongside his partner, Patrol Officer Ryan Saunders. Officer Saunders and Larry both specialize in detecting explosives.

K-9 Larry is named in memory of former Warren County Sheriff Larry Cleveland, who died in 2023 at the age of 70. Cleveland served a 30-year career in law enforcement, including two terms as sheriff from 1999 to 2007.
