Denver weather: Showers and cooler temperatures return Tuesday

DENVER (KDVR) — After a warm and sunny start to the workweek, rain chances and cooler temperatures move into Denver’s weather forecast starting Tuesday.

Weather tonight:

Monday night will stay partly cloudy and mild. Temperatures will fall to the lower 50s, which is seasonal for this time of year.

Weather tomorrow: Cooler, afternoon showers

Tuesday will start off with sunshine. Then, as high temperatures climb to the mid-to-upper 70s, clouds will increase ahead of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms.

Looking ahead: More showers & below normal temperatures

Showers will last longer on Wednesday morning, then get going again later in the evening. Temperatures will be cooler and only reach the mid to upper 60s. Rain showers will linger early Thursday, followed by more below-normal temperatures, only reaching around 70 degrees.

Sunny, warmer and drier conditions move in Friday and into the weekend. High temperatures will warm to the mid-70s, just a few degrees below normal, before jumping back to the lower 80s this weekend and into the start of next week.
