Who You Are:
The Supportive Service Certified Medical Technician (CMT) provides professional services in accordance with physicians’ orders or plan of care. The CMT assists with filling the clients medication planner under the direct supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse, call in medication refills to the pharmacy, calling the physician’s office for updated medication list, assists caregiver staff by performing routine duties and activities of daily living. Additional duties include spot checking and educating residents on available services.

Requirements
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Successful completion of State approved Medication Technician Course, and when applicable, the continuing education course.
Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic. Ability to document care given.
