CTG is seeking to fill a Business Analyst opening for our client in Philadelphia, PA.

Location: Philadelphia, PA
Duration: 12 months



Duties:

  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Asset Management and Trade Lifecycle.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories.
  • Support the implementation and integration of BlackRock’s Aladdin platform across front, middle, and back-office operations.
  • Facilitate meetings, conduct gap analysis, and develop process flows and data mappings.
  • Liaise between business users, developers, and QA teams to ensure requirements are understood and met.
  • Participate in testing activities, including test planning, execution, and defect management.
  • Produce clear and comprehensive documentation, including BRDs, FRDs, and process models.
  • Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.


Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Asset Management industry practices and investment products (e.g., equities, fixed income, derivatives).
  • Expertise in the trade lifecycle from order initiation through settlement.
  • Hands-on experience with BlackRock’s Aladdin platform is required.
  • Proficiency in writing business and functional requirements.
  • Ability to conduct data analysis using Excel, SQL, or other tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the financial services industry, preferably in Asset Management.
  • Demonstrated experience working on Aladdin implementation or enhancement projects.
  • Experience managing or contributing to technology projects in the trading or investment domain.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
