About the Role:


The Sr. Manager serves as the site leader responsible for the end-to-end management of branch operations, encompassing production, sales, customer service, safety and quality. This role is accountable for driving operational excellence, building high-performing teams, and delivering sustainable profitability. As both a strategic leader and operational executor, the Sr. Manager ensures the branch aligns with corporate goals while responding effectively to evolving customer and market demands.



In addition to overseeing daily operations, the Sr. Manager plays a key role in workforce planning—supporting the hiring, development, and performance management of all team members. This position is critical to leading change, fostering continuous improvement, and creating a culture of accountability, safety, and growth that supports the organization’s long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Set a clear vision and direction for branch operations aligned with the organization’s long-term goals.
  • Oversee all aspects of branch operations including production, sales, quality, safety, service, and financial performance.
  • Translate enterprise strategies into branch-level initiatives and KPIs, ensuring effective execution and accountability.
  • Serve as the face of the organization within the local market, building strategic relationships with customers and community stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify new sales opportunities and competitive advantages through market awareness and customer engagement.
  • Lead the branch through periods of organizational transformation, including systems upgrades, process improvements, and cultural evolution.
  • Build change capability within the team by modeling agility, resilience, and open communication.
  • Ensure cross-functional alignment between production, sales, and support teams to optimize efficiency and customer experience.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement scalable, sustainable improvements.
  • Build and retain a high-performing, inclusive team culture focused on collaboration, development, and accountability.
  • Provide strong coaching, feedback, and career development for team members across functions.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field; MBA or similar advanced education is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of progressive leadership experience in an industrial distribution, manufacturing, or operational environment. Proven success in leading change, managing P&L, and building cross-functional teams.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and performance dashboards; familiarity with SIOP or lean operational principles preferred.
  • Leadership Style: Adaptive, collaborative, accountable, and people-focused with a strong ability to drive results through others.
  • Physical Environment: Normal office environment; manufacturing and warehouse environment and exposure to moving equipment. This is an on-site position, located in Aston, PA.
