1. Murder charges issued after son confesses to killing parents

An arrest has been made in connection to a 2017 homicide on Crestwood Court in the city of Albany. Police said an Albany man confessed to killing his parents.

2. Search for Cohoes homicide suspect continues

The search for the Cohoes homicide suspect Anthony Bechand remains ongoing, New York State Police said in a press conference Thursday morning.

3. Albany man arrested for fatal Sheridan Avenue stabbing

An Albany man was arrested in connection to a fatal stabbing. Anthony Boyd, 36, was charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

4. Troy man arrested after stabbing on Second Avenue

Troy Police announced an arrest was made following an investigation into a stabbing on Tuesday afternoon. Kevin Benson, 44, of Troy, faces multiple charges.

5. Elevated lead levels found in two thousand homes in Amsterdam | NEWS10 ABC

The city of Amsterdam continues to work to mitigate high lead levels in drinking water. Amsterdam officials issued the public service announcement on September 16 warning of the elevated levels. According to Zach Bagster, plant manager of the Amsterdam Water Plants, they have currently identified around two thousand affected homes.
