TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Three roadways in Troy will undergo milling and paving operations as a part of the city’s annual infrastructure improvement plan this week and next week. Pinewoods Avenue, Spring Avenue, and Burden Avenue will experience temporary traffic disruptions while this work is being done.
The three avenues will also undergo drainage structure adjustments in between the milling and paving. During this period of infrastructure improvement, the roads will only be open to local traffic with detours and signs in place to guide drivers.
The work has already begun on Pinewoods and Spring Avenues and is expected to be completed by the end of this week. Burden Avenue’s milling begins on Thursday and should be done by the end of the day.
Next week the paving will begin on these avenues. Drivers should expect delays and build time into their schedules in anticipation of this road work.
