TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -The Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual Meet the Mayors event at Hudson Valley Community College on Tuesday morning. Constituents were able to listen to the mayors of Watervliet, Green Island, Rensselaer and Troy answer their submitted questions while enjoying breakfast.
“I think it went great,” said Mayor Charles Patricelli of Watervliet. “I mean really though all four of us really are basically all in the same team. We know we’re all neighbors to each other and we know we have to rely on each other.”
“We work collaboratively whether it be what political side we’re on, whatever. What’s good for Watervliet is great for Troy. Vice versa, Green Island and Rensselaer,” added Mayor Carmella Mantello of Troy.
